Board Care

We build our boards to last a lifetime. We want your board to find a place on the wall when it retires, not in a landfill. Nicks and dings happen, especially on the chair and in lines… [we’re looking at you, skiers]. Here are some ideas to help keep your board shredding for years to come:

GENERAL CARE

Bases: Wax it! Keep it fast. Sintered 4000 bases are fast and incredibly durable but do require waxing more often than their softer counter parts.

Bamboo Sidewalls: In our experience, the bamboo sidewalls have been very durable. We recommend treating them with marine grade epoxy such as System 3 S1 or a nice wax once a season. Fun fact, when you're laying down trenches, sidewalls generate some friction, so rub on some of your wax and you'll get a bit more glide.

DINGS & DAMAGE

Top sheet: A dab of super glue does superbly to tack down a nick, and a bit of epoxy and a clamp will do you one better should the damage be gnarlier.

Bases: Thankfully they're black, so a P-Tex candle will do the trick should you need to fill a nick.
